Rumble in the Roses (2009) - UC Berkeley CNM 190 Class Project:
For this animation a group of around 12 students, including myself, worked for 2 semesters on producing a 30-second short animation. We worked closely with staff from Pixar and Dreamworks as we learned and experienced every aspect of the 3D animation production pipeline.
I worked mostly on set design (concept, modeling, lighting, animation), character rigging and animation as well as contributing to the overall organization of assets and group cooperation.
Six Hundred's LanBoard Adventure (2010)
This stop-motion animation was a promotional video created for Antec Inc. It was played on monitors around the company's booth at this year's Penny Arcade Expo on the East coast.
I did everything for this video by myself all the way from writing and story boarding to shooting, animating and editing. I couldn't have done it without the help of my friends donating their time and some materials while filming, though, so special thanks to them.
High Current Pursuit (2010)
This was another promotional video for Antec Inc. It was meant to showcase some of companies products in an entertaining way at the Computex Information Technology Show in Taiwan this year. Like the previous video this one was played on monitors around the company's booth. This video was heavily influenced by old cheesy Power Rangers fight scenes.
For this video I worked with a group of 3 or 4 people and together we came up with the concept and storyline. I did most of the shooting and editing and led creative direction in the post production effects.
